Darkness To Light

Because you left I was sifted into a tailspin, thrown about like a hurricane that came in the night

My darkness was stronger than the strongest wave

You opened my heart with an unimaginable force.

Everything in me felt you, your presence so great, so consuming

As fast as you came you departed my life

Leaving a wreckage that only a hurricane could bring

Now as I sit repairing the storm called you.

I wonder what kind of faith could bring me through

What grace, mercy could take me from this pain

I closed my eyes dying to the love I had for you

I opened my eyes living for the love he has for me

That very mercy I prayed to grab me, that faith so strong it heals

Yes He has hold of me carrying me to a new place

A place where only peace can dwell

Now in the mountains where he has rescued me I feel the warmth of his presence

The softness of his love

The happiness of him having my heart in his hands

Yes rescued and loved by his mercy

Faith Brought You Here, Faith Will Keep You

With every turn of our life cycle we go through seasons, which have tests and trials.  There are people that will be with us throughout our life span and there are people that will only be with us a short amount of time and leave us.  These relationships that we have are there to help us grow, learn and hopefully change or blossom into strong, beautiful, healthy creatures.  The person that God put us here to be.  It was never his plan for us to lean and rely on others but to trust and lean on him and his divine ability and intervention.  When our faith and trust is where it should be those tests and trials will be mastered successfully.  We will not succumb to the pressures of life and the distractions that will be before us.  We will move on and press toward our destiny with purpose and drive.  When we know who we are and whose we are we are able to fight with a muster and strength that come from within, because our foundation is deep to the core.  When we seek guidance from our God and know him above all else we can rest assured in his word and in his promise that victory will always be ours.

Pulled But Faith Brings You Back

Life takes us through gravitational pulls, it’s up to us to discern which direction we must go and to hear God’s voice and his spirit and listen closely and follow him where he may lead us. We must listen closely and hear him closely for guidance and direction the voice of the enemy is often loud and disguised.  The enemy can by loud at times, we must listen closely for God’s voice we must use the discernment that was given to us to hear with clarity.

That’s why we must stay in prayer, we must stay focused, we must read His word, we must even fast at times, for guidance and direction. That we will know when we are listening to God, when we are listening to the spirit when we are listening to the enemy and even when we are listening to ourselves.  We need to know whose voice we are hearing.   Sometimes it’s just our voice we are hearing because we really want to do something but it may not be the right time or the right direction for us.  It may not even be what he has for us.  Sometimes we are just hearing our own inner thoughts, we are listening to ourselves, something we desire for ourselves.  So ask yourself, am I with this man because it’s God’s destiny for me or am I with this man because it’s my desire for myself.  Ask your self, am I at this company because it my time, my season or am I here because I want to be here and my season is actually up here but I am scared to leave, I am scared to move out into the next thing God has for me.   Have I stepped out on faith and ventured out with the entrepreneurial abilities that God have given me to start the next part of my live with ownership of my own company or am I afraid and fearful that I don’t have what it takes.  Am I afraid to take that next step to open my own wellness center, yoga studio, accounting firm, am I fearful of what lies ahead.  Has God put something inside of me to blossom and bloom but I’m afraid to do it because I’m not listening to what he has given me. I’m not listening to his words he’s telling me on a daily basis through prayer, I’m afraid to step out on the things I am seeking his guidance for but I’m not hearing him clearly because I wont listen. I seek him everyday n prayer but I don’t listen.  I am not hearing, I am afraid to actually discern what I am actually hearing. Am I going through life everyday actually not listening and hearing what he’s telling me.  I go to church every Sunday but I am not listening.  I hear the pastor preach these marvelous sermons, but I am not listening.  Because I am afraid. I’m reading the word every week every week but I’m afraid to listen to what another minister or the word is teaching me.  I’m afraid to step out on faith.  I am afraid to step out on faith and do what God has called me to do.  I am bound up by spirit that are not of my God.  God has already given me the tools that I need, the instructions that I need, the equipment that I need to go forth and succeed with what he has called me to do.  Im uncertain of what lies ahead.  You can’t be afraid.  You have to just trust him and take that leap.  That’s what purposeful living is all about.  You have God’s favor, you have the education, you have prepared, you have been called, you have been told your purpose, you have prayed, and prayed and prayed.  There is nothing else you can do but step out on faith and know that this is what you have been called to do and just do it! Fear is not an option.  Go forward in the dream he has given you.  There is not another school you can attend, not another webinar, if it’s a purpose he has called you to, he will open the doors for you.  Do not let your purpose pass you by.

God did not give us the spirit of fear, that is in his word.
